Verda Elementary

Hello,

My name is Janet Kuhlman and I am Verda Elementary's Literacy Coach. I'd like to begin by telling you a little about myself. I have been married for the past 50 years to Gerald Kuhlmann. We were blessed with two children, Sundae and Skye, and three wonderful grandchildren, Rayven, Madison, and McKenzie all of which attended Verda Elementary.

  

I graduated Northwestern University and have taught for 30 years in Grant Parish, 28 at Verda Elementary.

• 7 years as a Special Education Teacher 

• 2 years as Curriculum Coordinator

• 21 years as Highly Skilled Educator

 I have had the best supportive parents, great students, and faculty.

I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. VES has always felt like my home and family!
