Hello to all of my fellow Yellow Jackets!

I'm Mrs. Shannon Johnson, your Assistant Principal. This is my 1st year to serve the students and families at Verda Elementary. I couldn't think of a better place to be as I begin my 26th in education in Grant Parish!

I can't describe my excitement as we begin a new school year with our students, our families, and our staff. The future of Verda Elementary is very bright, and my goal is to foster and support growth for everyone, everyday!
